Progress report 8

 
 
The next update will still take a while, so I decided to make a quick post to update you about the progress.
 
I've created one new dungeon, the "Drunken Cave", named after the drunk dwarfs digging it.
The dungeon has 2 stone floors, 1 lava floor and 1 ice floor. In the dungeon you'll encounter the new enemy types Water Fairy, Gazer and possible Ice Elementals if the CGs for them are done before the update is published. :D 
 
You can also meet Lace, if you had the previous encounter with her, in a building in the lava floor and finally use the Katryx Blade to break her armor. 
 
In the ice floor you'll be able to meet the Ice Spirit from the haunted mines in Calterburry again, if you decided to let her go instead of sealing her.
 
The base in front of the dungeon has currently not many events/characters. It'll be filled with more life, as soon as I find an artist to make me dwarfs.

I've also made the small village Millwater, where the patreon poll event takes place. With these two new maps, the mapping for Begus is getting towards it's end. There is still a lot of eventing to do before I can start working on Dorgania, but we're making good progress in this direction.

      Did you like the girl on girl action in general or was it more Ryen's part in the scene and how he was treated?

    6. Going outside like that would mean I need to add alternativ dialogs everywhere, which is a bit too much at the moment. ^^
      Trey and Brad are currently not planned for such a scene, but maybe they'll be my victims at some point as well. XD

    9. i wander if he well add more monstergirls and animation maybe that would be awosome to have 3cg to make it feel like is moving and at the end the splash

    10. More monstergirls are planned and currently in the making. :)
      One of my new artists, Miranya, makes some really awesome edits to her pictures. So there is definitely some stuff coming, which you can look forward to. ;)

    12. Neither the sprite at the start nor any other is animated. :) The sprite at the start is simply two side view battler mashed together. The amount of possibilities to do that on other scenes is limited, so it won't become a thing, unless I can find a pixel artist to make custom sprites for me.

  3. I thought of a future side quest that could play in with your original goals for the game. If you are still planning on adding pregnancy and Ryen's future children to the game that is. If you add a deeper relationship with Millaine and she gets pregnant there could be a major side quest where you have to save her from the church of Begus because I imagine their reaction will be very violent when they realize the child she is carrying has demon blood. I imagine they would have a bad reaction anyways since Millaine isn't married combined with Begus strong religion but with the kid being Ryen's I would think the reaction might be as far as execution, hence the need to go and save her and the future kid of course. Could also play in with the war mechanic once you manage to finish it as I would think even the normally calm Ryen would have a very strong emotional reaction to a threat towards one of his children.

  4. I could give Pixel art a shot if you have the dimension, and are clear on what you want I could atleast attempt something and if it doesn't seem good enough no harm no foul.

    1. Each tile in the game is 48x48 pixels, in which also all characters fit.
      If you think you can make characters or tiles in a similar style of the existing graphics, send me a mail at Naughty-Netherpunch@web.de and I'll give you some examples and templets.

    2. yeah to get it to exactly similar style probably take me a few months of playing around, not to make any jabs but have you picked up Game Character hub and looked at the steam workshop for it?

    3. I feared that would be the case. Obviously I need things that fit together with what I already have. :) But feel free to write me a mail once you feel confident with it.
      I'm not using the steam workshop, most of what I see there isn't of any interest for me.

    5. It's hard to say what you need, without knowing your skill, so I just made a simple example and the templates for each dimension of charset, tilesets and facesets. Maybe that'll help you for the start. :)
      You could start by trying to improve the base tileset or try to make different clothes/hair/etc. for characters.
      Do you have the rpg maker mv yourself, for all the basic stuff?

    6. no but I have 5 years of graphics design, and I'm pretty good at Eyeballing and recreating stuff in minecraft :P, since it all gets out putted to a PNG format it's not a big deal I was thinking about creating trying to make a rose from robotrek like character you know me and odd ball snes games XD
