But just to make sure no one misunderstands, Scarlett is still making CGs for the game and isn't replaced by the new artists. They're additional to Scarletts work, which means I now have 3 CG artists making pictures for the game at the same time. This should obviously cause a noticeable increase in CGs in the game. :)
The CG scene reward tiers will change to allow people to pick their favorite artist to make the CG for their scene. Scenes with Scarlett's CG will stay at 50$ but reduced to 1 pledge per month. CG scenes with pictures from Mirayna will also be available for 50$ and limited to 2 pledges for now. KARIS takes a lot more for each picture, so I have to set CG rewards with her art to 100$.

ReplyDeleteOf cause that is just me and Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Want one sees as beauty might mean something else to another :)
I'm looking at use of lighting, shadows, as well facial expressions and hands, the last two being the two hardest things to do as an artist. Scarlet tends to lack on facial expressions actually it's more like they are all the same generic face. which is good in terms of production time but it takes away the uniqueness of a character so others tend to look for other traits like hair styles or fashion or skin color.
Deletethe new artists try to incorporate more personality by expressiveness.
Hmm I do not think Scarlett lacks so much in the facial expression but as with every skill improvements is always welcome the earth spirit in the woods had a pretty cute expression :) hands and feet is also something that Scarlett have become better to make over the cause of the game too :)
DeleteLighting and shadows is still needing some work but perhaps when she looks and the two new artist and their work Scarlet will get ideas of her own as to how she could improve on it :)
